Via road the coast can be reached, coming from the north, on the A1, and changing to the A30, with exit in Salerno or A3 with exit in Vietri sul Mare, the beginning of the Amalfi coast.

Coming from South Italy, from the highway (A3) Reggio Calabria - Napoli, you get Salerno, where following to Vietri sul Mare, you get S.S. 163 Costiera Amalfitana, to Amalfi.

There are public bus service, offered by "Sita", that connect the Amalfi coast to the various towns in the province. The first village on the Amalfi Coast, after Salerno, is Vietri sul Mare, the next is Cetara, then Erchie and after Maiori.

You can also arrive in Amalfi coast via sea, with ferries or hidrofoil, directly from Salerno, Capri, Sorrento or Naples, this services are only available in the summer months.
